The healthcare system is a multi-tiered system that aims to fulfill all of the population’s healthcare requirements. In addition to hospitals, clinics, community health centers, and public health agencies are also part of it. The health system also includes care providers, such as doctors, nurses, and other health professionals (Druss & Goldman, 2018). Improved access to critical health services, improved quality of health services, and increased availability of health professionals in low- and middle-income areas may help bridge gaps in public healthcare (Druss & Goldman, 2018). Increasing the number of health facilities, particularly in rural regions, is one strategy to enhance access to primary health care. Providing financial aid to those who cannot afford health care is another approach to increasing access. Healthcare providers must be trained in quality improvement strategies to enhance their services. Incentives for healthcare professionals to enhance quality are another method to raise the bar (World Health Organization [WHO], 2018). Increasing the number of healthcare professionals available may be achieved through training and mentorship programs for healthcare professionals across the specialties (World Health Organization [WHO], 2018).
