Application Paper Guidelines

Topic: You are to select a film that has many organizational behavior concepts. The content of the paper is the application of what you noticed in the film related to OB issues. From the following list of OB concepts, select at least five (5) on which to write. The paper is not to be a restating of what you saw in the film, but rather a description of those parts of the film in which the concept is evident.

5. Group/Team dynamics
6. Communication and cross-cultural issues

9. Conflict and negotiation

Purpose of the Application Paper:

1. Gain insight into the various areas of OB as seen in the film.
2. Develop/improve written communication skills.

Format:

1. Introduction/Purpose
2. OB topics in the film (use a separate heading for each topic)
3. Summary & synthesis of applications and analysis
4. References

Length: 4-5 pages. Select 4-6 topics/themes related to OB.
