I need help with replying to a discussion post. Here is the original post:

Healthcare leaders are faced with many ethical dilemmas. These dilemmas may be logistical, such as staffing issues, or more complex, such as implementing healthcare reform initiatives. Your ability to navigate ethical challenges is essential to successfully leading your organization. For this discussion, reflect on the ethical dilemmas you might encounter in your current or future leadership role in healthcare.

• Briefly explain your role in your organization, and clearly state the ethical dilemma you wish to examine in this discussion.
• Propose two ways of navigating the ethical dilemma. This is your personal perspective, but it should be crafted with thoughtful reflection and research. Here is the discussion post I need help replying to: “An ethical dilemma that needs to be address is Pro-life vs Pro-choice. “In 2020, the infant mortality rate in the United States was 5.4 deaths per 1,000 live births” (CDC, 2022, para 1), that doesn’t seem too bad until you realize it is just the average of the population. In 2015, “The UN estimates there were around 140 million births in 2015. This works out at around 1.26 million maternal deaths” (Roser & Ritchie, N.D, para 57), yet this number hasn’t change too much over the last 7 years. How does this relate to Pro-life vs Pro-choice? Well it shouldn’t matter if patients are Pro-life or Pro-choice, it’s about making sure to keep our patients and infants safe. The main goal is to prevent infant death from happening not stopping what the patient wants.The first way is finding a neutral ground. The organization should always put patients first, it’s the staff’s duty to treat the patient, no the family, not outsiders, just the patient. An outsider should have no right in trying to control what is best for an adult. Therefore, it’s best to stay in a neutral ground by reporting that it’s the patient’s right to make the final decision on what they want. The patient can choose to be pro-life or pro-choice, what matters is that the organization is following the law allowing patients to choose and by informing the mother that they have only a few weeks to decide on whether to keep it or not, otherwise the organization won’t be able to help. Making it clear to patients will prevent any miscommunication.The second way is promoting healthy pregnancy. When a patient comes into the organization, it’s the staffs’ duty to make sure patients are getting what they needs to have a healthy pregnancy. This means giving patients’ services, supports, resources, etc. to prevent anything from going wrong. The hospital should work with the government to find ways to help people keep their babies safe. A service such as a mid-wife who will see patients once a week to support their stages of pregnancy. That way, patients can have someone to guide them to a healthy pregnancy.”
