This week’s case focuses on Starbucks, a global brand with high consumer awareness. Refer to the instructions in the Syllabus & Course Info section of ulearn in order to access and read this case on the Harvard Business Publishing website.
For the purposes of this case, please stick within the confines of the information contained in the case study. In the context of this case, Starbucks is experiencing some challenges. One of the main purposes of a case study is to place yourself within the role of leader. In business and life, we face the challenges of uncertain information.
Use your marketing skills, research, and experience to make THREE strategic recommendations for Starbucks based on information in the case. Label them 1a, 1b, and 1c in your response. Be as specific as possible. For example, if one of your recommendations is that Starbucks should create a drink for kids, don’t just say that Starbucks should create a drink for kids. Instead, talk about why you feel Starbucks would benefit from such a strategy. Possibly even include information on another company that successfully executed such a strategy .
