OVERVIEW

Given the societal, legal, and pharmacological impact of psychotropic drugs, there has been increased awareness of racial, cultural, and SES disparity between substance use and incarceration. In this short essay, you will create an argument for how society and the criminal justice system need to adapt to acknowledge and meet these challenges.
